Technology Innovation Platform of IFOAM

The Technology Innovation Sector Platform of IFOAM - Organics International, or TIPI, fosters international collaboration on research for organic agriculture. Established in 2013, TIPI engages all organic stakeholders who benefit from such research.

TIPI establishes research priorities and strategies with stakeholder organizations, mobilizes partnerships and builds capacity to assist small-scale producers in developing countries, advocates for increased funding in organic research and innovation, facilitates the exchange of scientific knowledge on organic food and farming systems and represents IFOAM - Organics International members involved in organic research.

Through its efforts, the platform helps practitioners apply, disseminate, and implement innovations consistent with the principles of organic agriculture and ensures that IFOAM - Organics International policies are based on sound scientific findings.
